Why do I dream back?

Reflecting the steps, and,

Reminiscing a journey.

It’s backward, but yearning,

Of hopes I’ve returned.

And so why would I cry?

Stop, then run by?

Maybe it’s the ‘new’ me,

Writing, good job,

Or simply, a ‘Hi…’ 👋🏽
